I have to face realities. 100-300km driving each day is something that 360 won't take forever, so sooner or later reliability will be a problem, also it is damn expensive to refill full tank 2-3 times a week, crash safety is also big issue as I spend some time on roads and probability of accident is quite high compared to time when I drove 2000km in a year.
So I must consider something else, diesel car that has better safety and reliability, unfortainly it most likely means boring fwd. However in future I will get some nice 3dr GLT, but first I need some space for hobby car
I don't have schedule yet, but even I will have no 360 someday, I'm not going to disappear from board
Firstly Damn sorry to hear that i guess all the issuses that you posted on other threads have coursed this? if so but for prackticalness i guess its right. secondly arent volvos safe? incase of road accedent?
anyway iam sure what ever you dicide to do with the car it will be the right
That's a pity, but your right, as safe as 300's are, they arn't the same as newer Volvos. You know how addictive 300's are though, you'll come back to them sometime Just hope you'll keep up the great work with the rFactor 300
rFactor mod will progress still and if I find some storage place I might put 360 there to wait when I have more time to start really working with it.
Indeed all little issues are causing too much trouble, car failing on road is possibility that should be non existing in my current job.
Also 300 even being Volvo and being rather safe compared to same age Corolla for example is not even near same class as for example 740 is or some car made 2000 or newer.
Sorry to hear you're leaving the 300 behind. But quite understand with all the problems your car has developed. It can be quite depressing when everything fails all at the same time. Glad to hear you're sticking with a RWD Volvo though! And that you'll be sticking with V3M

I go to see car at noon, it sounds as minter, no rust, has AC and power steering, everything works, never welded never has got any dents has 2 set of original alloys, so I'm going to buy it for sure.
Wohoo, I'm happy owner of underwear blue 240 diesel
Car is really good when you look that it is 1983 model, sure it has some problems but nothing really serious, it is of course under powered as I have used to 360 but it runs smoothly and it does have power steering and AC so should be rather nice ship to float around

Nope, that is not possible, but installing turbo is, however car is almost ready for museum registration so I plan keeping it original and possibly going that route, but lets see now.
I must go to drool over car now and maybe take pic or two
