I want to lower the redline as a lower centre of gravity should theoretically help the balance and handling of ones vehicular projectile.(not bad for an ex grammer school boy) so i'm gonna take me junior hacksaw to the front springs and get a big bag of cement from Wickes

Depends how fast you can type. Personally I disagree, as it would take me exactly the same length of time to type either. It's only two keystrokes, cnt - can't if it where message and msg, I wouldn't hesitate to agree with you. abbreviations are fine, but there's a line, and that line comes where an abbreviation becomes ambiguous,
cnt could mean:
can't = Cannot
cant = (Vb)to slope, (n)a phrase, repeated until all meaning is lost, and also another word for a camber in a road
c*nt = a word I hate, and only use when somebody truely deserves it
cent = $0.01
centre = middle
continue = to carry on

To quote a fantastic, yet forgotten comedy of the 90's;

"What's next? We arrest a man for burglary, drop a few letters to save time and end up charging him with buggery"

I dont know if the spring adjusters stiil exist, there used to be spring clamps available, not the ones for removing springs safely but ones thst clamped a couple of coils tightly together thereby lowering the car , I had some on my mk2 cortina (god now I feel old )

I'm on my reading week sm19 :P, I could be doing work, and probably would be if I hadn't pretty much finished everything due in before january.

I could also be T-cutting my car, but i finished that today! (I no longer have a pink rear! :P)

So really, in answer to your question, no, I dnt have anything better to do, which is why I'm sat infront of the telly with a laptop watching Dante's Peak, and drinking Carlsborg Expert

Anyway, welcome to V3M!
Dave

just get some volvo alloys. but you'd be better just getting a 360 and doing the work to that
