Potentially for sale: 360GLE

As some of you know, I am considering selling my '89 360GLE saloon. While I'd rather keep it, financial considerations mean it's going to have to come off the road for a few months, so if anyone makes me a decent offer....

Very good grey shell, had a little bit of welding done on the front of the offside sill for the last MOT, and there's a little bit of rust on the front splitter, and a small scratch on the nearside wing. other than that it's very clean and tidy.

Sealed up steel sunroof, electric windows, PAS, heated seats (although I don't think they work)

B200K engine with brand new cambelt and headgasket (less than 10 miles on both), currently has injection cam, but has the old head with the original cam sitting in the boot, if this is needed to cure the lumpy idle.

It's also had the diff gasket changed, new rear shocks, replacement (s/h) front seatbelts and a Hella grille. It's idling rather lumpily at the moment, due to the cam, this will either need the cam changing back or attention to the carb or renix to solve. It'll also need some attention to the carb to sort the economy, but other than that I can't see that it would need anything to pass the MOT (it passed last year with the carb in a much worse state than it is now)

MOT until March, tax runs out on Wednesday.

Anyone (sensibly) interested? Or know of a sensible place I can keep it until the summer?

Well, I reckon she owes me the best part of 400 quid, so I'd hope to get somewhere just shy of 300. Whether she's actually worth that much I don't know...

BTTT - She's still available, I've taken the Hella Grille off now, and that's available separately. Obviously MOT has now run out, but I've started her up every couple of weeks since taking her off the road, and moved her around on the drive - she's running a lot smoother now than when I first put the new head on.

Anyone interested?

Not that you're getting rid of me that easily of course...
