Hi everybody.

thought i'd post and say hi bought my first 340 last night its an '89 1.7 4 door. full service history , absolutely imaculate, and got it for £365. Bargin!!

I have some plans like alloys and lowering but nothing too out there.

and also a few questions.

1. will golf alloys fit with out a problem?
2. where can i get soem clear front indicators?
3. what kind of fuel economy, do they give back if driven normally?

Hey, welcome to the forum :)

1. Some golf wheels will fit, I believe it may have been earlier ones (mk2?)
Have a read of these two posts for a start.

Seems you need wheels with 4 x 100 PCD about 32 - 38 offset and 52 centre bore. To keep it simple you could just stick with any 300 or 400 series wheels.

2. Radicast in Sweden (http://www.radicast.net/usd/index1usd.html)make clear lenses for the 300. They are exact copies of the original in all other ways. They are only lenses though, so you need to remove the old orange plastic from the housing and replace it. Cost for a pair is about £65. Alternatively you can make your own with some clear lenses from a certain Vauxhall which look ok, and and it'll only cost a few pounds. (http://www.volvo300mania.com/forum-uk/v ... php?t=4729)

3. Not sure. Fairly good, but not outstanding.
