Some stuff

IC isn't so big, but it's good up to 250-300hp as it's quite thick and good core, so it's more than enough for my current engine.. There would've been taller cores available with almost same price, but end tank outlets would've hitted the lights or bumper mounts so those would've required some modification.. But that smaller one is fine for me, it fit's like it's meant to be in there. :P I'm going to fit it at the next week.

New top mounts for struts and new top plates. :P Konis are going in with those at the next week.

Nice work mate! Just out of interest, have you got the bush that goes between the bearing and the top mount? I found only traces of rubber in there when I took mine apart, so got some new ones, surprisingly still available from Volvo. I've just done a front suspension removal and rebuild, new shocks etc. One of my top mounts was in three pieces, so nice well done on getting new ones, worth doing. I had to find a good one from a car I'd broken up, cleaned it up and used that. I can find a part number for the bushes at some point if you like.

Good find on the Konis too! I'd love a set allround, however, I don't think it is too likely!

I bought my Konis from the Ebay.

I don't have the bushings yet, because few people here said those aren't needed with the newer style top mounts, though I don't know for sure. 3268720 is the part number, jtbo and Adam didn't have those in their cars, but of course those could also been worn out in time..

If you mean the part 11. Pettaw said this in earlier thread

yeah, 3268720 isn't present so you won't need it. I bought 2 and couldn't get them to fit cos I think the top mounts have been modified so the bushing is already in it.

And Adam said

Yeh if you look at the profile of early top mounts they are rounded over, these have the separate bushing under it, whereas the newer squarer top mounts dont need them!!
Adam

But i'll see if those are needed, I don't get them yet.

Top mounts were 51€ pair and top spring plates were 34€ pair, though there might be some discount because I bought the parts through my cousin who works at the dealer. :P

Oh! Well researched, I'd not remembered that, plus didn't have the time to look through the old threads. Hmm, looks like I've added a needless part then, they seemed to fit ok to me though..... ! Oh well, never mind.

I bought some more stuff. Springs and those bushings which might not go with the newer style top mounts. Pic is updated.

Test fitted the IC also, it fits perfectly. I had to move the oil cooler slightly to make the IC fit but that wasn't a big job.. I'm going to buy few silicone hoses tomorrow and make mounts for IC. I'll take some pics when it's fitted. :)

Lower mount is ready, I'll put same kind of bar at the top also, maybe at sunday. :P It fits like it's meant to be in there.
