1976 343 for sale in France

Has anyone noticed this?

OK, I know it's in France, and the steering wheel's on the wrong side for most of you but I don't think I've EVER seen a '76 Mk1 for sale anywhere. AFAIK Volvo NL only made 5000 or so of them in that year.

The pictures aren't great but it looks like the DAF-style seats & wheel caps are still on it ...

If I won the lottery, I'd start my 300 collection with one of these - just because it was one of the first - more DAF than Volvo.

However, as much as I like the exterior (lots of chrome, no rubbing strips, small wheel trims) I'm not too sure about the brown dashboard:

Perhaps it looked better in the brochure, but I think I prefer the black Volvo 240-style dash fitted to the later cars ...

Hmm, that dash in black and specially that steering wheel looks really nice to my eyes

Looks quite bit like some version of R5 dash which I think was quite nice too.

Specially those instrument colors are nice, imo.

Yeah, I like the orange needles too ...

Hello everyone

This car reminds me of a Renault 4 which I owned for a while It was LHD as well and I found it fun to drive in U K Similar fascia that is for sure Wasn't this the time of that Peugeot Volvo Renault gettogether.
Reminds me had better look after my cars here first
