Whats missing?

I changed the clutch over the weekend, took it out last night and it runs like a pig, if i suddenly stamp on the accel pedel it coughs and splutters. But if i build the revs gently its fine. I had a look round the engine bay and found this, im sure there was some kind of hose on it when i was changing the clutch. Where should the pipe from here go to? Also would this hose missing cause problems with it running?

I am by no means 100% sure but iirc there should be a thickish hose from here to a t piece at the rear of the block that evantually gos to the bottom of the air filter , I'm sure the thing in your picture is a crankcase breather so will effect running because the missing pipe will allow to much air into the carb letting it run weak

Indeed there should be something there, and it should look like this



The hose splits and leads to the air filter assembly and the inlet manifold I think, but I don't have any photos from the right angle to consult

Cheers guys, so basicly do i need a hose that goes from the place on pic shown round the back of the block and splits in two? I think i know where they both have to go if they split in two.

Have you found where the hose went yet?

Either where they should go, or where the missing hose itself is

Found where it goes to and from, but im sure the hose will be out somewhere in the middle of the road, i have bodged a bit of hose on until i can sort it properly, the car doesn't get used too mcuh anyway.
