get down there just before 7, into Mc Donalds for brecki coz you can park there for a bit ( 45 mins I think )
then into the BP to fill up.
as I hadent heard from the people I thought I might as well check the oil and water and tyre pressure .
all done so went to move the van to a waiting bay when I heard a loud bang got out to find my two week old rear tyre had a massive hole in the side wall.
lady parked next to me reckoned the manhole cover where they fill the tanks was slightly raised and I clipped it pushing the manhole cover back into place in the process .
went into garage to complain and they would not accept any responsibility for there dozy tanker driver not replacing the cover properly despite my rants.
The minute I got the jack out to change the tyre the phone rings
"where are you " my friend says
quickest tyre change you have ever seen then a 2 hour drive home 5 up with luggage with Honda nuts holding on the Hyundai spare (which uses deep sleeve nuts)
to say I was crapping muself was an understatement and the curry I had the previous night didnt help lol.
got home and had to buy a new tyre ( £58.00 )
moral of the story
never offer to take people to the airport just coz youve got a people carrier
