Whan spraying a matt colour, can you still spray a clear coat over the top to protect the paint? or will that add too much shine, i like the chip resistance the clear coat gives, but maybe that can just be acheived with more layers of colour?

personally i would go for more coats as the laq with at shine. whats the point of matt black if it has a shine?

just go lots of layers and if it chips get the hammerite out again spray and a light sand. job done. :D

You can add a matting agent into the laquer so that it doesnt dry with a gloss finish but a matt one.

i have just seen it as i cant see pics at work and :shock: :D

its nice! you cant half tell they are mk2 escort arches! s dont know it they work 100% but i still like it and i love the wheels!!!!

on a dift track that would look ace! :twisted:
