You really sure on that... esp on later cars, 155's had the trademark 300 rims with 5 sets of double cuts, and 175's had plain steels with full size hubs capsSteveP wrote:Should be no problem - the 175 wide tyres were fitted to the same rims

Yep, I know that in 1982 DL's had 155's and GL's had 175's on the same rims. Doubt they'd change the wheels for such a small increase in width on the later models... Surely early Mk3 360's (I'm thinking GL's) had 175's on them double 5 cut rims?

I used to run on 185/60 13's with std steel wheel. They did make quite an improvment.
