I was sad to see that...

Post by Duvel78 »

Hello mates,

I'm not very often on the forum bit I'm still there

I got a nice test car since Friday, a V50 new generation with a lot of toys. It drives very well BUT it's a charmless car, I don't have the same feeling as an old Volvo 300... And I hate diesel cars. The conclusion is that i prefer the 300! (maybe I'm sick? lol) Some pics near the 340 of course :D

Yesterday I've seen this on the parking of a Volvo dealership...  What a shame!! It was clearly a car in very good condition... Knowing that dealer, they will bring it to the scrapyard immediately

that looks like it was a mint car, it will be a big shame if it goes to the scrap yard.
i guess you could ask in the dealers if you can have parts and see what they say.

The thing about the V50 is you might as well buy the original Ford Focus and use the cash you've saved to buy a nice old Volvo for the weekend ;-)

Shame about the 300, I guess these things happen. Hope some of the parts can be rescued.

Oh yes. Quite a funny story behind it, but for those of them not in the know, I imagine there were a few irate blokes back in England that weekend when they realised who I'd 'borrowed' :D I do what I can...
