Nice looking example there mate. Was that on that auction website by any chance?James Burrage wrote:There have been some really cheap ones down here, I saw one go for under £100 the other day, perfect condition, electric everything, low mileage - a real shame!
Here's mine (at my house now). I've been cleaning it all morning, got most of the moss and dirt off it, just some T-cutting to do and polishing now. I've also taken the sticker off the back window which I had put on to advertise my website, but plan to get a volvo300mania.com one on there at some point!

This is the one I had on mine (as shown on Dads car)

Aah. Thought it looked a bit familiar that's all, cos there was one on the site we do not speak of the same colour as that and it had a CD player.James Burrage wrote:This was my grandparents, but they only use the V40 now (found the steering too heavy on this one).
I got the old sticker on eBay, £5 for a 1m one.

Alas, I don't have a CD player, just an old JVC radio/cassette from an old van as the Volvo stereo gave up. This goes on it's first big drive in years on Friday, hope to really give it a good run (although no doubt Dad will keep reminding me about the manual choke).Tom wrote:Aah. Finally I have sorted the pictures out and here are all of the 360 GLT's in my possession!
My daily 2.0 360 GLT F Reg 1989

My other red 1988 F Reg 360 GLT, not currently in use.

It's a GLT despite the grill, however the engine isn't original!

The F reg 1989 saloon, which I hope to one day find the time to start restoring, too good to be lost forever!

A rather damaged example, showing what they can stand up to, my parts car!

My Dad's special edition 1986 360 GLT, unfortunately unused and stood!

Sorry for taking up so much space. There you go Steve, finally got around to it!

Oddly enough Mick, the Ltd Edition saloon has nothing really different to any later 360 GLT. It's the fact that it was one of the first new styled 360's, as a saloon, for the 60th anniversary I believe. Rear headrests were standard in the 360 GLT saloon. It doesn't have electric mirrors, air con, only the standard 360 stuff, oh and a recirculation button for the heater system, woooo!!
