i *REALLY* want a set of 3 or 4s. if anyone can get me a set let me know :)

i've almost brought a set of '2's to replace my '1's cos the guy only wants £30 including good tyres.. desisions desisions :P

Good price, but lets face it, their Butt Ugly! No offence to anyone, just my opinion! I personally have a set of 3's, 5's, 2 x 1's and a set of 5 spoke alloys with flat faces, like 5, without the chamfered edges! Unfortunatly Their all on vehicles, exept the 1's!

has anyone actually seen a set of 4's on a car? i've seen lots of 3s but never a 4 (cos they werent stock on anything afaik)

If ur a member of the VOC, the 18'th page (300 register) has a pc of a 340 / 360 with a set of 4's on!

Yep, on my 1984 340 DL... And it was a standard equipment on this limited version... sm63

I also got a set of the 3s and there is a detail that maybe some of you don't know... There are 2 models: matt grey (I have that) and silver metallic like on the picture...

I have no idea on which criteria Volvo decided to put the matt grey or silver metallic... Was that depending on the car's color?

Have you noticed that over two identical model and age volvo's the spec can be completely different! Its as if volvo just randomly put features on some cars and not other!

You are right and the "luxury level" from country to country is difficult to understand:

A 360 GLT in Germany had generally NOTHING: no ecometer, no external temperature, no power windows...

A 360 GLT in France had all those options...

As far as i know, only the blueline had the econometer and extrernal temp gauges in the UK, factory fitted that is!

Yeah but in the UK you have the headlight wipers and rear wiper as standard equipment... sm16

Thats true, however the rear winscreen wiper and washer were post '86, as my '86 volvo 360 gl does not have one! Thought about fitting one but it makes it look a little different! Also as site adminastrator, could you make the writing darker, that is the font that is put in when you log in with your username and password! The light gray is very hard to see against the white background, black would be better! - Just a thought...

Good observation! You're right, the light gray is difficult to see on the white background when you log in ... I knew it but I couldn't find a solution yet (if I change that, the color for the topics will also change... but I can test it) :wink:

my 86 had no rear washer, and the headlight things dont work - they developed a problem so i just unplugged them - dont want to remove them cos there'd be holes in the bumper then :)

i recon a rear spoiler keeps the rain off the rear window fine. incidentally - talking to my folks (who brought a 340, brand new from a showroom, 21 years ago, but dont have it any more) they asked for a rear wiper (their previous fiesta had one) but were persuaded by the sales guy that they were useless!
