Being super geeky and sad.. I don't think it is, the 300 glass sunroofs I've seen all don't have a circle handle. Still, if you want a glass sunroof, who cares
I'll be even more geeky and sadder than you Chris.
Kesks roof is not a "genuine" accessory (or at least such a roof was never available in the UK market - in Bosnia, who knows).
An aftermarket type glass roof was available and was generally a "dealer fit" accessory but the trim ring inside was always black (though this would be covered by the headlining after fitting). Most, if not all had "Volvo" screen printed on the glass - but none had such a handle as Kesks. All versions were tilt only - the back edge being raised by one of two types of handle, (a simple, flimsy two position one, and later by an improved "multi position" a bit like a grab handle).
I'm pretty sure that the factory "slightly frowned" on the UK wish for glass "moon" roofs and I think all were "market sourced" and those not dealer fitted were fitted at the import centre. From memory they were sourced from "Panarama" (a UK sunroof maker in the 80s').
There was also the Tilt/Slide glass electric roof that were fitted to 300's (glass slid above the roof itself) as fitted to Pettaw's car, also seen on another 300 too of similar age.

I have the later in Kar, I must admit I really miss it, with Fake not having one. No hassle, touch wood no rust issues, certainly no leak issues. And the interior is sooooo light. It was GLE plush out the factory, and it's never dull looking in there like non roofed cars can be.

Not geeky at all, I think it's great there are people around who remember details like that.
Much better than my posts, which tend to be supported by "AFAIK" and "IIRC"
I've had a few replies to a load of emails I've sent to sunroof specialists I've found from different sources and there all saying the same, have a look at a mk1 golf.
I'm now trying to contact a local lad who i believe had a mk1 gti with the sunroof to to see if he'll let me have a poke round it. Mind you i think finding parts for one of those may still be as difficult.
