Front springs Diameter?

Post by Baba »

Does anyone know the diameter of the front springs?

Surely cant be that difficult to find a spring of similar internal diameter from a 4x4 or van to fit.

If I have any luck with this I will share the info lol :D

Wow some great info there. Thanks a lot.

Pardon my ignorance but is the GLT the 1.7 litre version? If thats the case how come the GLT has stiffer springs?

I shall start my quest for stiffer springs today :)

GLT's are 360's with the heavier fuel injected B19 or B200 redblock Volvo lump. They're top of the V300 range.

Hello and welcome by the way!

Hmm just saw your car, they might not be suitable as they're supposed to run at standard height with the 2.0

Baba, I made spring calculator quite some time ago, it can be useful for comparing different springs as long as they are linear springs.

Classicswede (A welsh bloke called Dai), supplies springs as low as you like and as stiff as you like, but he's hard to get hold of these days - try a PM
