If you think you have got problems, I have spent Christmas eve and Christmas day changing the rear brake shoes.
I fitted them to both wheels, then couldn't refit
the brake drum to the second wheel. Then realised I had made
a mistake since there is special way round to fit the shoes
to each wheel. By this time one of the shoes was cream crackered
and I had to go back to square one and fit a second set from the
attic. Thinking they have to be done as an axle set, I had to redid the
first wheel too since the brake shoes were a different make.
While doing this I spotted the wheel cylinder
was leaking so another trip to the attic yielded a spare
wheel cylinder (or 4) from which the cylinders and seals were
taken. Finally got the rear brakes and drum back together
and bled the rear brakes. Moved to the front to bleed them
but one of the same said or sad nipples was blocked and
a good 45 minutes was spent trying to unblock it. I never
knew these things would cause me so much trouble.

Fortunately the brakes all seem to work fine now - which is great but
it doesn't help on ice....trying to brake gently going down hill she went into
two very scary rear-end slides but straightened out OK, luckily.

Rapidly becoming a legend in my own head.

Aymat, 800 x 600 screen resolution indeed, well spotted! Glad you feel better. Wouldn't mind a set or two of the rear speakers, not seen many! Pete

Ugh... but why...

That's a 15" monitor... It should do at least 1024x768 @ 75Hz?

I can't cope with less than that... Even my Powerbook has a 12" screen @ 1024x768

Hmm... Must hook up the 'Volvo Sound' speakers from the 345 and run them off the surround outputs on my amp once I put a decent soundsystem in my car I'd feel left out otherwise.
