Rare 300 bits for sale

Post by Carl » 20 Dec 2008 01:25 pm

Morning chaps - long time no speak

I'm considering having a clear out of my remaining 300 bits. I kept these ones because they took me ages to find and cost a fair bit of money in total, but unfortunately I'm at the point where I don't know if I'll ever get to use them again and the funds would be very useful for my little project and the up-coming wedding.

I've priced them roughly at what they cost me originally. Dunno what the 300 market is like at the moment, but I they're not worth that much I'll probably just keep them in the hope i buy another 360 eventually!! So here goes:

Centre gauge panel. Near enough brand new with fittings, instructions and box. Will also include a drilled gearstick gaitor to save you ruining yours. SOLD
Image

Oil pressure gauge with senders. Gauge is in good nick and comes with the proper wiring loom and 2 senders - I believe one is for a 240 diesel and the other is from a petrol 240 and comes with an adaptor to hopefully fit a 360 - never checked this though. SOLD
Image

Oil temp gauge with sender - brand new in box. Gauge, proper 300 sender (never tried to fit it though, but can provide part numbers to double check if need be), proper 300 instructions, wiring loom, connectors etc etc. SOLD
Image

Voltmeter - used with but comes boxed with instructions for a 240/260. Wiring loom included (but not photo'd). £20
Image

CVT front bumper vents - gives the front end a slightly meaner look IMHO. SOLD
Image

Hella Light grille. Used but comes with all wiring, relay, instructions etc and also a very tatty box. SOLD
Image

All bits are postable - just ask me for a price and I'll weight them up and work it out. Or collect from me in Southampton, or I'll be up near Peterborough over Christmas is thats any good.

Cheers

That's very fair of you Mr VND,

But I'll let you take the vents - With probably only 10 or so 360's in the entire state of WA, I figure it'll be very hard of me to turn my motor into an absolute gem like you guys can.

Besides, I kinda like the stripped-out Mad Max look - And I figure the more air that gets into the engine bay, the less likely it is to overheat! My main mission is to get the air-con working properly :)

Damned decent of you nevertheless :)

No bother mate.
Mad max style eh?
Sounds interesting................................

Just checked back to your intro pic.
Mad Max seems to have calmed down a bit since the days the V8 Falcon!

Those bumper holes DO look a bit mean though man.

Like its sucking in air, and it doesnt care what else comes in with it.

I tell you what, I so wanted a Falcon XB V8 coupe :)

If the closest I can get is a rattle can of matt black, a slightly asthmatic red-block engine, and an elderly volvo, then I'll have to make do with that :)

I figure with leaf-springs, rear-mounted gearbox, and rear-wheel-drive, I'M having all the fun, hehe

I used to have one of those hella grilles on my Mk5 cortina, bet theyre like hens teeth now.

They are that man now man. used to see them everywhere.

There certainly is something mean and post apocolyptic about matt black as well man.

Nobody messes with a man in a matt black p.o.s.

PM sent for the volt meter.

BTW as a vario driver it sounds really strange to hear that the vents give a meaner look ;)
