Hi there i have a 360 GLT with a B19E fuel injected and when i put my foot down on the go peddle only over 4000 revs in 2ND and 3RD it pings and rattles ive look at the timing and moved it back and forth any ideas

Using high octane (super, 98E, what it is called there)?

You definitely need 98 RON fuel in a B19 ...

Yeah you'll need the Super Premium, the ordinary premium is only 95 RON. normal unleaded in Aus is only 91

found the real prob there was a broken wire in the loom i think it goes to one of the injectors fixed it now works well

Excellent!
I've found with these Red-Block engines (and 700/360's in general) that its usually something really simple thats at fault rather than something complicated.
Blimey, that sounded a bit pointless and rather stupid didnt it?

The B19 will run perfectly fine on unleaded if the timing is adjusted.
