360 2.0 GLT Rear Diff

As title has anyone got one? has to be close to norfolk so no one in southhampton

I've got some but nowhere near Norfolk although I have had holidays in Wells and Hunstanton

Try find a 1.7 340 it's same diff or 1.4 is 3.82 as opposed to 3.64 for the others.

Harder to get out of 340's due to the tank in the way-think you have to take the box and diff out as one.

the 340 1.4 diff is a doddle to get out no need to remove the tank just drop the rear spring mounts and it'll fall out i'm pickin a 2.0 diff up on saturday at oulton park which needs welding up as its blown the planets the same as mine did

sven does that mean that the 2.0 diff's are a shorter ratio than the 1.4

3.82 from 1.4 will give slightly quicker acceleration and wee bit less top end.
Don't think it will be that noticable but every little helps-would need a 5.3 to close that chasm between 2nd and 3rd

Bilbo has a 4.78/1 for sale should get it off a line a bit quicker

ahh me see now sorry was having a thick day yesterday the 2ltr diff i'm picking up is for a spare anyhow just incase i break the standard one again but with the welding job i did i doubt it will

Just done the maths and it came out as a top speed of 85.
Maybe it's best kept for rally use only eh?
