renex unit and check and clean the pick up sensor on the bell housing also check i hasn't got a imobilser on it as i had a similar problem with one before and the imboliser was inoprotive when drove it home and over night it decided to work moved a few wire around and by passed it never had a problem since
Crank position sensor is your next thing to check. Have you tried holding the plugs near the block? Do you get a visible spark? If the answer is no, considering you've replaced all the other stuff, the CPS is about the only thing left (or the renix). Could always turn it over with the dizzy cap off and see if the rotor arm is actually spinning.
i have checked the rotor arm is spinning, that was one of the first things i checked. since my last post i have bought a cps for it and will fit it tomorrow...
could be a rookie question but i'll risk it anyway; did any 340's come with immobilisers standard?
I don't think that any 300 series car had immobilizers standard, I think that there was some option where there was extra lock near fuel filler cap, but that is not seen even as often as 300 with cruise control
