Sounds fair money to me for a modified 164, but still... depends how rusty it is!

My brother would like to get of the manifolds to do that with his 164 - consumption should still be just over 20 MPG I would think.

if you go to the right place insurance on moded cars is little or no diffrent to standard.

you always have to pay to be individual , its a lovely looking car ,the new mot should reveal any problems and no road tax to pay either ,
