I have got my hands on a 89 1.4 340 and was wondering what are the major issues with fitting a Valver engine in?
Also any ideas how the mounts line up, any ideas? cheers

Loads of info lying around in threads, bit of hunting will usually turn up what you need. And if you cant find it, ask up.
The knowledge contained in the brains of v3mers is frankly terrifying. And very handy.

No problem fella, just we get asked this a lot. It really is a straighforward conversion, most of the work being simple nuts and bolts. Have you done any similar swaps before? If not, it's not a bad choice for a 1st engine swap really.linkay wrote:cheers guys, sorry im a bit new on v3m

Re: 340 1.4 DL 1.8 16v F7P conversion
mines just gone to MOT,
So far i seem to be the one thats had the most problems with the swap, but after 5 failed attempts to get it to mot, it has just driven 6 miles beautifully! all the way to mot!
the ammoutn of people on here that have done it is great, because help and options are round every corner!
enjoy.
