I think they will look good in silver, possibly a bit too common in black, as in most manufacturers do their steels in black because they hide them with hub caps.
However if you want to try black, yes just spray them, as mentioned plastic primer for the win, i did my chrome grill suround with it and it worked fine, just give the surface a light key first.
Or hows about silver rims with black center caps

I'll paint a centre cap up in plastic primer and have a look see how they stand.
im tempted to leave them be and just run them silver now though.
Basicly because im impatient and I want to get them on tomorrow!

Dude, if they dont fit, youll know soon enough by the quaking of the earth as i slam my fists through the earths crust in a wailing rage of frustration and disapointment.
But they WILL fit.
And im about to prove it by going out and fitting them now.

Theres a pinstriper of repute on north shields. Wonder what he'd charge for doing the wheels and a couple of matching body stripes/flourushes.................
filthyjohn wrote:Whoa, he's proper gonna do it too! Having a drive down to show me the results?
Pinstripes ftmfw.
I spoke to him about striping up the Oxford when i was looking to 50s rockabilly it up.
He seemed like a good bloke.
I think wheel stripes would have to match body stripes.
What sits well on silver and on green?
A lighter green?
Cream?
Nice choice man. It will kill the natural arse happy tendencies as you know but if that aint how you roll.... lol
As for paying for pin striping, I think not. Stick one on the back, jack it up and run the motor. Steady hand FTW. Or maybe rim tape? They don't call me King Pikey for nowt lol.
