Aye carbs are easy when you know what all the little screws do.
Latest problem is the throttle return spring (homemade) isn't string enough, so the throttle ends up slightly open. Fixing that tomorrow though.
I went for a drive earlier, it's so fast. 1st and 2nd are so short that you can beat almost anything off the lights.
But there's a problem.
When I shut my eyes I see cams.

I think I need one of them..Mine seems to work best with new cam with vacuum advance disconnected and F$£% knows what's happened to rev limiter (ie. not there ..)

I've just been to Carlisle and back on £25 of pez. And I
really wasn't taking it easy. The car is unexpectedly frugal.

yes very lucky.
we thought mine had a problem when i took it for MOT, they complained it was out of petrol in the morning i had droped it off.
we'd stuck £16 of fuel in the tank and done 6 miles to the garage.. £2.66 a mile at speads yeh right!
ohwell it makes for intresting driveing
whats happening with your old engine?>

Stealthstylz is using it for mocking up a project. (non-volvo, kinda).
Nobody escaped being overtaken on the A69 yesterday night. 2 lorries in a row, up a hill, in 5th. I love it.
