Just a much better noise really, not much of a performance increase though it will feel a bit quicker due to the extra sound. I'll PM you some pics, it is a straight fit but you'll need a little silicon sealant or similar. 1.4s hate air leaks.

There is a small performance increase as when i went back to a standard one for a bit it definately responded differently, im not sure if its faster just has better throttle response, and it may just be me but i noticed it went a bit better on the motor-way. But i may just be deluding my self

ok so my k&n bolt on filter came at the weekend,i am gonna run it through until the first frost then go back onto my pan with a performsance filter.
i siliconed the filter to the lip and left it for 24 hours before tightening it down to make sure there was no air leaks.
the sucking sound is cool, the car feels more responsive.
it seems to feel much cleaner without any hesitation, feels like its pulling stronger through the revs.
BUT THE BEST THING FORGETING IF ANYTHING ELSE IVE TYPED IS TRUE...............................THE SOUND AFTER 4000RPM IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well worth the money.
well my suspension should be on its way,my steering wheel OMP dish, and boss will be with me soon, and my din gauge holder is here so should have my 3 gauges in soon.
