Could be the champagne gold metallic like colour under dodgy yellowy/orange light?

Nah I reckon thats a different colour again!

I *think* there are 3 different types of metallic green. 1981-1983ish, then around 1985-1987, then later stuff 89-90 (and some 340s).

Hmm, that green doesn't appear to be it, though could be. Tough one, colours can be interpreted so differently in different light, screen set ups, cameras etc!

the following green paint codes were definatly used on 300s :

208 Dark green / Onyx metallic
226 Light green
302 Light green metallic

theres probably quite a few others too

Although its slightly dusty... I think its this colour! Why is it impossible to find decent pictures of this colour! I can find the late type (snowy) and the 82-83ish metallic green (my dads old 345) easy

Me neither!!

I just know its neither the same colour as the 82-83 cars or the late 88+ metallic green. Although I still reckon it is some kind of metallic green!

loving the stripes on the one with the caravan, its not only got the spots but also the fabled rear window louvre amd check out the seat covers on the one Steve posted now if I could only find my high waister bags and tank top LOL

window thingys were a LOT more common on mk2s - i dont know whether they actually made them for mk3s or not.
