We dont see many brown ones in the UK.
Yes, very rare color. (code: 185)
I love this car!!! Same colour as my Mums old 345 GL back in 1996 ish:
Never really saw many in this colour over here too... seen a couple over the space of about 15yrs or so! Funny at the time I never really liked the colour... but I now love it! I do remember it looking great in the sun, lots of metallic flakes

If you get time, I think this car restoration deserves its own thread in the General Discussion section.
im sure many people would find it helpfull to see what youve done with the car in greater detail.

Ok, you're right. Is not easy to summarize 2 years of work, but I will try.
More details coming soon...
Thanks,
Richard

In the seventies and early eighties, brown was a really cool colour. In the late eighties and nineties it was extremely uncool.
Now, things are brown again

Not just cars, but furniture too ...
Sometimes things come back into fashion. White is another example. In the nineties - "delivery van" style. Now every gangsta rapper wants his Range Rover to be white. Yellow? Popular in the late nineties (Ibiza Cupra, Mercedes SLK and even C class) not so cool now. But maybe in 2020?
Brown metallic ... love it

Richard, may i ask why you changed the original B19A for a B200E?

The original was a B19A, so I'm guessing the donor car happened to have a B200, rather than it being a particularly concious choice. Injection vs carb? I can see the motivation...it's just a shame that LE-Jet isn't a particularly good system.
cheers
