Thanks to the great macplaxton, my motor now has a set
of shiney front and rear bumpers. He kindly picked them up for me
while on his travells at the end of last year. This must now be the

I was wondering how the pointy front bumper would look on a flat nose. Hardly notice it.

falling of the back of his lorry . As for the front spots, i will have to have a think about that one
They were getting a bit rusty at the bottom so might get some new ones

Not in the wet you wont (Besides it's a bit quicker than 7.8 if you can get traction - 7.2 is the book figure)

From what car did the bumpers come from? I was always under the impression that MY81 (the last model year with the old nose) and MY82 - 85 bumpers were different ... Can't remember who told me that, Foggy maybe?

From my glance at the old ones, the MY81 wraparounds are flatter across the front. MY82-MY85 ones are a little pointy on the front edge in the middle, but nothing too serious. Across the back edge against the body they appear the same.

Hi Rich.
Your quite right. There is a slight difference but all i had to do was to
use two bolts that were a bit longer on the bottom bolt holes and it was a
streight fit
