I'm glad you didn't take it that way Atchi. Maybe nearer the time you are thinking of getting another order together we can have a proper chat about them, it is something I think my car could benefit from if done correctly!

If something isn't up to my specs, I'll build one that is. Thing is, I really don't have time to anymore. There are lots of performance parts on the market that are just bodged to fit a different car, even so called custom 300 parts (and please no one believe I'm now on a witch hunt here, I'm not, there has been one >£500 part I've found to not be something I would want to buy and I won't mention what that is until I've spoken to the guy making them to see if he has a good reason for what he's done)

I think I know the very part you are refering to. And teh big problem is you need to do some extream bodging to make it fit. I'm very disapointed with what I have seen in respect to the fitment asuming we are talking about the same part.

Atchi has done some good work with this diff and I would be very happy to use one myslef.

I;m sure there will be some reasuring feedback from the customers who are in with this first set.

It is somethink I had been thinking about looking at in the future but hopefully these will work out spot on and at a good price

Thanks peeps!

I will say this though. This racing cars are good trial for those LSDs.
1 of them is just over the limit of what it will take, so I will be very much nervous about it.
I was happy with 300Bhp as that is my goal for my ultra modified 1.3(bored out to 1500cc) turbo engine to produce!
My mate has 300 Bhp from same 1298cc engine, so I think I will be good to go.
Just gearbox and LSD withstand this much power, I will be happy.

I will be taking more orders once I know it is OK with this much power. This summer is judgement days!

Cheers
Atchi

Hi Adam,

I'm getting better. I was not well for 2-3 weeks.
I did a lot of house improvements, not able to work on my car as well as more job commitments.
When you are young, no money but a lot of time to spare. now, money is there but no time!

I will finish building all of my car project.....eventually... perhaps...

Hi everyone. I've been following this thread for quite some time now. I want to buy a Volvo 360 and this thread is very interesting.
If the LSD turns out to work great after all the testing this summer, then, where would I be able to buy one?
And, if I have welded my stock differential, do I need both this Atchi LSD and a stock volvo diff to use the LSD?

Thanks, this is my first post btw.
Best regards from north Sweden

Hi,

At the moment, I'm the only one knows where it is made and he won't make one for same price!
You will need your drive flange which bolts into diff. That is all you need externally. You will have to use existing crown wheel to bolt on to LSD.

Do you think it will ever be available to buy? From what I've read it's seems like a work in progress, but with good results so far.

Hi,

I got 7 made so far and 5 of them will be used in racing car in Sweden.
He will be trying with 350bhp and rest will be less than 300bhp. So I hope it will be a good test.
The road going 1 is working great.

Hi!

I am very interested in a LSD. My setup is a 1982 323 GLS with 2,3 litre, port job, H-camshaft, polished piston and head, lower compression and turbo carburator. My thought was to get the revs up so that I can use less turbo pressure and still end up at around 300bhp which means lower torque and maybe a drive train that will last longer.

I know how to both race and drift so I can give plenty of feedback! :)

I too live in the northern part of Sweden though

I can build/modify something myself, anyone who has any good idéa of some good candidate to put in the housing? Or maybe something that will fit but needs a new housing?
