The idea of winding those two up never occurred to me, honest..............
Anyway, I thought we'd agreed that we can use 'mark' designations to refer to basic bodystyle only, hence
Mk1.0 - nosecone style
Mk1.5 - nosecone + wraparound bumpers
Mk2.0 - smoothed front with quarterlights
Mk2.5 - smoothed front with one piece front windows
Mk3 - revised bumpers, tailgate and rear lights.

Just realised I have a car of all 3 Mk's (although not intermediate versions), all three engine types, 1.4, 1.7 and 2.0 (although not injection) and an example of at leat one of each of 3 door and 5 door and saloon versions.
Is this a record

(I'm sure not!)
That would also make a good photo, although getting them all together could be fun!

All we need to do now is find red 3drs of mk 1.5, mk2.0 and a van to have a photo of all different body styles of 3dr.
Finding a red MkI (MY77) would make it really good, the MkII (MY79) isn't a problem but a non chalky red MkIV will be....

If I do find a MY77, I'm really really hoping it WON'T be red - I need some variety in my 343 life!
