I have absolutely no idea :D Although I think we all need to come up with a plan pretty soonish. Foggy also suggested Uxbridge/Crooked Billet?

How about a RWYB day at Santa Pod ?

Just south of Northampton and about 25 quid.

There are a few public days in march and april.

Northampton is a long way out of the way for the south coast guys. However, a trip to the pod sounds like a great idea - and I want to give the 360 a run there before the fun starts :) Having said that...with cars as slow as ours, is there much point?

Right...lets get this sorted, then as soon as that's done, let's set a date.

1) Crooked Billet / Uxbridge
# Nice pub
# Good roads ;)
# Dead easy access

2) Goodwood
# Cooooool :)
# Convenient access for south coast guys, but not so great for the rest of us.
# Bit expensive?

3) MK
# Karting...cool but expensive again...
# Nice and central, albeit a bit of a long way north maybe?
# We can all invade Mick's house afterwards  J/k

4) The pod
# Damn cool...vaguely expensive, but the cheapest of the 'pay for' events
# Location not great, but at least its not Scotland...
# Chesh will probably pop down with one of his 740 turbos and shame us all :(
# Kev Strong and Mark Higgins might come and lay the smackdown on Chesh (or not, since they have to be very careful with their drivetrains) :)

BET NOW! YOU NO BET, YOU NO GET! YOU NO IN, YOU NO WIN! BET, BET, BET!!

cheers

1) Uxbridge

Good country roads nearby for a quick play then invade a pub, cheap as you want it to be :)

Ok....lets get a voting system up and running...

Uxbridge: 3
Goodwood: 1
MK: 0
The Pod: 0

The Crooked Billet does have a NICE roundabout for a drift show-off right outside...

EDIT: Note - I'm only counting 'votes' from now onwards, so if you've suggested somewhere, or raved about a suggestion....please post again. It'll raise you post-count ;)

cheers

James

I'm going to vote for Uxbridge simply because it's closer (edit: than MK, my second choice) for the south coast people...and it was my idea. But it's also the most dull.

cheers

There! Marked 'PH'. Although that's actually marked on the wrong side of the roundabout. Note proximity to Pinewood Studios!

cheers

I know where you mean now. MK is a very close second in my mind for some karting fun sm48
