Cars were made to be used not stored away for years, I would rarther see them go to some one who would love and use them than me try and find some were to store them.

I would be interested to look at the Black Beauty when it comes up for sale, I will keep my eyes peeled

not looking to get a people carrier or any new car just do not have the time to look after the ones i have and want to grow my business which is very busy and doing well, If i am going to do that i need time for the family so the cars are the thimk that will have to give.

I will just have the other halfs regular car and my transit van, it will be the first time since i was 12 years old i will not have an old car so it was a big decision for me.

A decision im sure youll regret dude.
But you can always come back to classic cars later.
Which is not so with a business and family!

I see your point about not wanting to store the cars. Even stored cars need some attention otherwise you end up with loads of work one day ... The Black Beauty really is a special car, but family is more important ...

Yes mate at 12 i had a 1966 triumph herald convertable restoration project, am 31 now and only parted with the car 2 years ago, my dad now has it.

yes i did see that struggle to think of a worse car for it lots of bolt together body parts that do not seal well.

I used the herald for years and have had too others and a spitfire so done that to death i think

Well i have sold the Daf 55, deposite now taken so just the Black Beauty to go now when i am back of holiday.
