Cue story about Niblett nearly nutting the windscreen in my 240 when he went to stamp on the clutch (thinking he was in his 740, which at the time had a super-heavy pedal thanks to having the wrong slave cylinder rod in it), and instead stamped...on...the brakes... Apparantly the four tyre treads were still visible weeks later...as was the bitch-slap mark from the seatbelt

Well front half of the cage turned up this morning, and i bought a new seat and test fitted it with the new steering wheel. Totally transforms the driving position and its no perfect for me once i move gear lever about 30mm closer!!!
Slowly getting towards the end of aquiring parts that i can fit!!! If weather permits cage in next week.

Well my logbook turned up this week. Change to engine no and cylinder capacity!!! Shame there isnt a column for no of cylinders!! lol

i had to have ye olde headed paper of a garage before they would let me do mine.

So did i but i got a nice letter from volvo confiming engine capacity...
