How much do we think Goodwood will be?

I'm gonna assign someone to investigate pricing at Goodwood....and I think it's gonna be....er...YOU Chris
Good suggestion involving Power Engineering - I think wherever we go it'd be good to 'do' something other than gorping at each others cars and having a drink in't pub. I really like the idea of a trackday or similar, but its finding the right location at the right price.
cheers

I think Goodwood is out.. I found this in the Saab Owners club, organising a trackday there:
£206.09 per car based on 30 cars
£154.57 per car based on 40 cars
The club also says: Non-profit making hire of circuit.

I haven't decided what to vote for just yet...

OUCH!!
A tad expensive I fear...
I`m with Foggy - It`s much better to actually do somthing - 300`s are fine cars but I don`t really want to spend a whole day standing round some in a car park, especially after a long drive. That`s why Gaydon was such a good choice
Santa Pod gets my vote - the problem would be if the weather was wet (quite likely in april) - the strip would just be closed.

Definitely agree we need to actually do something, Gaydon was still good and I'd been before! Maybe something similar elsewhere?

How about Husky pipes up regarding the possibility of a dyno sesh at PE, since Uxbridge is currently in the lead?
Any other options for stuff to do around MK? Definite prices on Karting?
The Pod is pretty risky because we're stuck if it rains. However, the Tbricks guys will definitely be going there in the Summer...so even if we don't end up going there now, I'm sure we will later in the year.
How about prices for Goodwood assuming we're just going to look around?
cheers

sod it, MK gets my vote. Lets actually drive! Testing our cars on a rolling road doesn't sound fun.

You've already voted once! Cheeky!
We obviously wouldn't just meet at the RR then go home....probably meet at RR, go for a drive, then go to Crooked Billet car park, have a bit of a gorp at each others cars, mess around a bit there (couple of trips up the dual carriageway...fun on the roundabout, then a blast down the lanes), then go for a pint. If you definitely wanna change your vote let me know.
Having said that...where have all the MK supporters gone?!
cheers

Rolling road day should be no problem, if any one is up for it, Will need at least 10 cars confirmed to make the booking, £35 each car, less if we get more cars. I woul love to go to santapod, it dosent matter how fast the cars are, its still a massive buzz, Your racing to beat your own times, not the bloke in the 600000 bhp skyline next to you, It is very addictive though, i started in my beetle running 18's quaters. no one will take the piss if your slow, you'l only get people giving you advice to go faster. The rain IS a problem, santa pod has it's own personal weather system Which totaly ignores whats going on in the rest of the surrounding area. Solamanda, I am up for some roundabout fun, Where abouts are you?

Beaulieu sounds good to me - a bit easier for our south coast members too.
I`ve just had a quick look on their website and group rates apply from 15 visitors.
Put me down for a vote for that one - I`m anyway off to the pod for the easter bash after faithfully promising my son I`d take him to see some jet cars.
