thanks man so happy with it now, and dont listen to the cut spring haters - handles so so much better all the wallowing has gone - it stays flat around corners AND still comfy
Never tried the method, but many do.
Just make sure they stay seated on full jack, on the MOT man will waggle his finger and suck air through his teeth.
some wheels i got off a member on here, looks 100x better now i think. i also gave it a clean and popped hte rack on after but havent got a pic yet, what you guys think?
Nice choice of wheel! I reckon they'd look better in anthracite rather than black though... as you can't see the detail of the wheels too well as it is

What do i think?
A tidy set of rims and a drop = Instant coolness on any car
I'd go silver on the rims with the raised "star" highlighted in black ala factory fresh. Still makes it look a billionty times better than the stock steels.
89 3dr 340DL in Battleship grey with Ultralights and Williams power
Whats the matter with the car i'm driving can't you tell that it's out of style?
thanks guys
yeah they are black at the moment as i only just got them but will tidy them up a bit will have a go at polishing the raised bits but dont know yet, with all the rain wouldnt want it to get messed up quickly
just the back to lower and its sorted
right now the handling on this car has gone from being like a barge to not all that bad - i want it even better. could someone recommend what landy shocks to get for the rear and what oil to put into the fronts please.
thanks all

yeah will any landy shocks do? i remember jtbo said that shocks wont be as good when its lowered but im going to go dwn the blocks route so the mounts will still be in the same place i think so shouldnt be a problem. thanks on the oil idea ive got 20w 50 classic oil, but guess thats not gonna be much of an improvement? i want the thing to handle like its on rails - and all the audio is gone now too - jsut the front speakers and head unit
