Right, well I think Beaulieu looks pretty good too.. so I reckon I'll vote that. It's better doing the pod in summer, and it seems some plan is already forming around then! Uxbridge sounds good location wise, but also expensive for a dyno run.. I already know a GLT isn't spectacular! :)

For £35 we might as well do half an hours karting at MK sm40

I think MK would be my second vote, although expensive would be more fun than a dyno run, which I'm sure there will be further opportunity to do so :D

Uxbridge: 3
Goodwood: 1
MK: 1
Beaulieu: 3
Re-bump! Sorry Chris, I didn't realise you'd mentioned it before.

Looks like Beaulieu has come from nowhere to take the joint lead! Not too set on the location - too far west to be easy for the European visitors, and a long way south for everyone else - can't they move it for the weekend?! ;)

I've taken the liberty of dropping the Pod, as it sounds like we'll be going there later in the year :)

Although the voting doesn't show this, I think we're looking at Beaulieu in first place, and MK as a second choice. I'm just getting worried that we're gonna lose some of the folks from up north having it literally on the south coast. If only MK were a little more cultured :) ;)

cheers

James

Yeah, I know what you mean about South, but the good thing is it makes Gaydon look like a toy shop! The car area is hooooge, and has some really cool stuff in there (one of the bluebirds etc...). And the entry can't be as much as paying to see how little power I don't have at the mo, so more can go in the fuel tank to get here :)

Lets see how the vote goes anyway....

360 degreez - You're not referring to Special (Stuart)'s "cartoon 340" avatar are you? I can't see why anyone would want a bigger pic of Steve's car...teehee ;)

cheers

Git! What have I done?! Not even my signature that was being talked about :P

Agreed location of Bealieu isn't exactly ideal, but it has relatively easy access from motorways. It's not greatly far from the midlands, just people further north than that, as we do have some active members further oop north.

Will the Turbobricks team be supporting us at the next meet? Can't be doing without a support car and flashing lights ;)

Milton Keynes Gets my vote.

For one its 17miles from my Home.

At 17mpg which the 740 does it suits my budget.

As for Go karting can we go to the indoor one as daytona is shite unless you get mega powerfull karts.

And everyday on my way to and from work in MK i keep a lookout for 300 series guys from here but have yet to see any of you.

Are you in hiding??

Not hiding chesh - I just try and avoid driving around the place as much as I can esp. in rush hour.

Fact is I don`t need to much as most of what I need is within walking distance - I live in one of the older parts of the town where everything is a lot less spread out.

If you see my car about town - it`s probably my wife driving as she uses it to travel between visits around the whole area.

Where do you work then?
