I can't read a thing on that site... could you translate it?
Do they have lower and stiffer springs for the rear or just for the front?

The ones I have are mounted on the rear axle between the wheels. Ain't got pictures yet, but they will follow.

rough translation (done on a word-for-word basis, so probably isnt very good)

lowering at the back :

forged leaf spring

the price will vary (lower) depending on how many you want

you can break off spring reach and leave them loose

takes about 1 week to get them forged

500kr is about £38 each, plus postage obviously..

Oljemarks Bilfjädrar AB
Name of the company which makes the springs
Enköpingsvägen 80, 174 46 SUNDBYBERG
The address
08-564 905 80
Fax 08-733 53 10
Mobile 070-628 27 35
Pris: 500 kr st. Priset kan variera beroende hur mycket man vill sänka
Man fÃ¥r själv montera av fjädrarna och lämna in dem lösa.
Tar ca en vecka att få dem smidda.
Price: 500kr / one spring (~50 euros, bit more) Price can vary depending on how much you want to lower. You must install/take out the leafs by your self and deliver the stock leafs to us. It takes about one week to forge.

Might be some mistakes in the translation. Swedish isn't my best language. :P But I'll hope you get the point.

OK, thanks!
That's not a realistic option... sending my leafs to sweden is going to be a bit expensive... I'll stick to my extra springs...

nono, i think thye make them brand new and post to you. i woudl think post is not a huge amount of money - maybe £20.. perhaps a local metal shop could do the same for you?

I think so too, It is not too difficult to change a spring. But then again, I dont think it will make the spring stiffer, only lower...

that depends how its been made - a good blacksmith should be able to build you a spring to spec (ie you tell him how much travel, how stiff and so on)

said it before and i'll say it again cheapest way is to hacksaw a couple of coils out of your front springs (cost nought ) big bag of cement in boot cost about a tenner , You may be able to get it lower at the back by adding water and actually mixing the cement (throw in the odd lump of hardcore )

And after that your car handles worse than before..

I'm not only lowering for the looks... also for some handling...
To me lowering and stiffning the suspension is one. Lowering without making it stiffer is just stupid.
Your shocks will bottom out on all the speed bumps...
