Hi lads.
Thanks for the heads up on the louvre. I have put in a bid.
However,if i don't get it,i wish the new owner good luck.
Mybee i might get lucky.
Cheers Mark.
Don't get those bids in too early, think about what the part is worth to you, and get a bid in as late as possible. Otherwise you'll just get sniped by someone else in the closing seconds of the auction ...
I did a deal with Aymat once, we were both interested in the same part and spoke about what we were going to bid. Aymat's was higher, so I held back. Of course that system only works on trust

Good advice there Tom, when you put in early bids it just gives other people longer to talk themselves into paying more. I never start to bid until the last 2 mins, I have 2 windows open and then put my maximum bid on, then wait for the last 20 seconds and hit bid now...guess you could call me a sniper?
It's the only way to bid TBH, I never understand why some people put bid after bid in, just to "stay on top" while the auction is running. Sometimes I think they're the sellers' mates, bumping up the price
yeah, he wanted me to buy this but hell I've not got £2000! Can I just express how awesome the 240 is though? I think it's possibly the nicest car I've ever driven.
