Ah yep, spend too much time on whiteladies road stuck in traffic. Maybe in future I'll have to make a detour to find your car.

Cheers mate, and great news on yours! Gotta love mark 2s! The wheels went straight on, 4 x 100 with the perfect amount of centre bore.

Okay. not much of an update really, as not much has happened. Uber uni coursework and the looming Jan exams has meant car work has taken a back seat. Cars running sweet, only complaint is the heater fan doesnt work. Heater does, fan doesn't, still. Its too dark and cold when i get home to work on it, so the minor annoyances will be sorted over crimbo. Got some door seals to fit (cheers mac), that heater fan, and get the boot struts re-gassed/replaced. Just the issue of money now!
Also been looking into the F7R conversion, uber list of parts! Found this:
http://volvo340.wikispaces.com/ which was fantastically useful. I'll most likely be badgering alot of people for bits after christmas then!

I'm going to start totting up prices for stuff so i can get an idea of budget.
Random photoshopped pic of how i want me car to look like once finished.

The oil cooler is in a pretty imprctical place, but i think it looks pretty sweet. when i actually fit one, it'll most likely be behind the grill.
I'll try and keep things up to date more now, as i have a little more time on me hands now.

The car looks great, external oil cooler would spoil it though - I really don't get what that 'look' is all about.
Should be plenty of space to fit it behind the grille/bumper

Yup. Exactly where its going
I'm not sure where the "look" comes from either. I quite like it, but its so pointless.

Its japanese 'bosozuko' style, my mate has a semi-bosozuko nissan cube. I quite like the external cooler

Thats the name! Bozoku. Yeah, im a fan of the oil cooler, not so much of the silly body kits and 'zorsts! Each to their own though.
Hehe, glad someone other than me likes it.

The more subtle ones are nice, not a fan of 10 foot exhausts like

Aye

Hi jon.
I didn't think i would like the black bonnet but it seems to work so well done.
The car looks fantastic. As for the heater fan, take it of and run it across the battrey.
This will tell you if its working or not. Good luck.
Cheers Mark.

Thanks mate, means a lot! I photoshop stuff before i do things, so i have a vague idea of what it'll look like before i do something irreversable. Cheers for the heater fan tip, i'll give it a go.

Yeah, do as MCHUDD says with the fan motor... however, what's more common is the heater resistor pack in the airbox to go rather than the fan motor itself.
