Sorry I can't be more use on the EGR though, I've never seen a car with it :S
Resistor packs are like that on Mk2s with A/C.
EGR is irrelevent if its blocked then leave it, its doing you a favour at the moment, because you've got lots of lovely air feeding your engine giving extra power, rather than dirty old exhaust fumes. With the cars tuned for 91 octane petrol you need all the help you can get
Looks like you're building quite a collection there! Good work because parts are getting harder and harder to find all the time. Even motor factors are rather sadly stopping their supply of 300 parts.
Re: the saggy springs, you should talk to Figgy. I know its miles and miles away, but she's up in Nth Qld and she had someone re-tension the rear leafs for her. The car sits perfect now and drives really nicely too! I'm sure there's someone in Tassie that could sort something for you.....although I may have to come and find you if you hit any more roos in that red beauty

I'm thinking if I do ever clean up that car, the stripes won't last. When I did get it, it was covered in moss/mould and I think they are well and truly done for

Alright, picked that green one up today and was surprised. It goes for one, and I've gone over it and has a bit of rust around the drivers side door and near the rear tail gate.... And that's it. Ended up costing me around AU$70 in fuel but it's sitting in my back yard and should be good for my little project car. 360 + T4.... Is my idea for a project

Nice one. Just need to see some more pics of this relatively unrusty example.
