Yes some of the 360 have a different anti roll bar and link rod. You can convert them to the same as a 340 by changing both parts.

Do you yet know time window for bushes?

I'm just thinking if I will need to get money aside already or do I still have time to earn some more? ;D

I have the anti roll bar bushes in stock now. The uprated link rods will be ready next week provided todays trail fit goes to plan.
The rear torque arm bushes will take approx 6weeks as the toolmaker has only just started making the tooling.
The front wishbone bushes will take approx 6-8 weeks from when I get an original rubber master.

Thanks

I got your PM, bushes will be in the post on Monday.

Can we get the bushes made to 'blend in' so that those pesky insurance companies won't notice?

I'll probably have to declare my megasquirt injection though when I fit it, just for piece of mind. Even though its not a real performance mod, it counts as one I suppose.

OT: Any recommendations of companies that take a reasonable view on mods?

Where did you get the strut brace from? what does it look like? I have been thinking about making one but have not got round to it yet. Does it make much differance?

Thanks

I'm not too sure about the mounting though... Seems a bit flimsy on that one bolt...

I think I'll make my own, but it would be nice to know if it makes any differance.

Ooh, I missed this thread....

Word of caution...the 340 link-rod design (same as 240, 740, etc) is not as good as the 360 one in terms of strength, effectiveness, etc. Directly acting on the strut is more effective, and the angles involved make the 340 style ones prone to snapping. If uprated ones are on the horizon then that's got that covered, but the effectiveness question remains. I think changing over just to fit polybushes would be counterproductive.

I'm really pleased the polybush-isation of 300s is taking place, and Dai deserves some serious credit. There are a few problems to be ironed out, like the subtly different versions of almost everything, but when we're done, this will be a great product line.

cheers

James

that strut brace is perfect.

much better than the 1 bolt-type.

now it's only missing a distribution cover  will take only 1 small piece of rock to destroy the entire engine now....
