Not too often I don't think, and yeah, FWD. Not keen myself, though driven worse ;) Feels all a bit 'unconnected' on the front wheels, worse than mums mondeo.

AC is fairly common on 400s.

tbh, they may be fwd but they do handle a LOT better than 300s - they are much lower to the ground with nicer, tighter suspension..

A friend has a bilstein lowering kit on his, and it handles very nicely...although the uncompromising ride makes me feel travel sick!

I think a 300 has the better chassis, but a much softer suspension setup. Shame really, as most people (and I don't mean any one here!) can't see the difference between 'soft suspension setup' and 'rubbish chassis'. Take Griz's 940 as a perfect example. Let's have a rematch when we've sourced some serious shocks & springs :)

They really are stiff. Soft springs are an issue, the front air dam has so much ripped off it from heavy cornering/braking :shock:

Jeez man, that ain't normal! I've got the GLT lip spolier too, and I've only given it a little scratch when landing after getting air off a hump-back bridge! I think you've got some tired suspension components there...either that or the older ones have even softer suspension?!

remember that mk2 had a different lip spoiler from mk3

I've never seen a lip spoiler on any mk2 GLTs :P

I meant my car is lower at the front, so all other things being equal would scrape sooner :-P

I'll have to get some photos, its even got dents from reaaaally hard braking! With the piston slap, rust, crap body work and generally shagged parts I will have to retire it this summer!

there is another 360 for sale in london, with a buggered torque tube. you could use your car as a doner..
