360 gearbox baulking in 1st and 2nd

I don't know if my car is missing something but the fill plug on the side of the box is easily accessible with a wrench. Even more easy with a racket wrench.

To fill the box I have used this type of cheap pump.

So the car's now had its gearbox oil changed, and the change feels a bit better, but still notchy in 1st and 2nd. I asked the garage to chek the linkages and the reverse selector, but it seems all was OK with those and they reckon it needs a new clutch to sort the issue.

Might get a second opinion though, just in case.
7.52pm: I'm jealous. I really wish that I was a) a Fulham fan; and b) at Craven Cottage. What a night for them. The players are still on the pitch, loving it.

If the clutch isnt slipping, I say live with it.
As I said, all of mine have felt the same with no negative effects.

Yeah your clutch will be fine unless you're really really struggling to get it in gear (even with force). Syncros are probably just shot. Another thing I live with daily :lol:

Personally if it won't go in gear I just quickly release and stamp on the clutch and move it quickly into gear. Seems to work for me :wink:
