if you've got rac or aa cover, just ring em up and say it broke down. they will then
a) tell you whats wrong
and
b) tow you home
job done!

I'll have to take a good look. Don't fancy ripping apart my car to find it fails MOT! At least I can nick a few body panels and drivers chair.

I do have new spare part that connects shaft from engine to gearbox, that did cost about 100euros from Volvo, but I'm prepared

Its here! No camera to hand so you will have to wait. The bodywork looks as new, almost no marks. Bumpers look new, no scratches! Engine sounds nice but I'm guessing the torque tube internal join has snapped. Windscreen has a crack, will try to get them swapped over, (how much should that cost?). Interior is as new!

Bear in mind the car is very dirty and needs a wash but still looks good!

incidentally - smiths cluster has a higher redline, and the mph's are on 10,30,50 etc rather than 20, 40, 60

Hehe, my old 360 has different dials too, (much like you describe). I'll keep this updated as I fix her!

She is.. nice car mate!! The smiths cluster is much better.. I prefer the looks and it has the more important speed markings.
