Hi Chaps
Im afraid Im with Nimminz, Whitby, Clumber Park, Midlands etc all good.
The price of fuel dictates that I would nt go further south than Leicester or further north than the Lake District, but I do know a cracking little camp site between Windermere and Ulverstone that is A) CHEAP AND B) A CRACKING PLACE TO DRIVE TO.
Also have seen other car clubs meeting there for an overnight or a weekend.
I would have to go for "alternate" - I like the idea of " south - middle - north - middle - south etc.
Luckily I have no problems how far I travel, but we must remember that a lot of 300 owners run them on a budget and (with fuel costs as they are) may shy from traveling from north to middle even. If we stay "middle" I think we will loose from both north and south and I believe we should cater for all. Certainly in a south year we would loose a good number from the north (and the reverse) but if we stick in the middle there will be a number who will not able to attend at all. Three areas alternated seems the fairest in the end.
Mac.

diffs, are like pubs and legs.
Best appreciated when open.
I probably should have specified ladies legs in there too. [+=] "embarrarrased emoticon"[].com
How about wales!? or shropshire? not north not south, lots of nice roads to drive and nice scenery. If you ventured far and into wales you could drive the elan valley road, a brillant driving road!
