Nobody gets paid for this but I will try for fuel costs of "display" cars (if it means happening or not I'll guarantee fuel out of my own pocket)
I dont think that would be needed, but if VOC cover it thats fine
I am interested in this, Id like to be involved, id be more than happy to display my car. I want to go to a BKV and this may give me the motivation. Sounds like it could be great. Need some half tidy 300s aswell though

Git... my car's no longer rusty! I'll happily show how to be a scruffy lunatic though.
I will happily fit onto a "repair techniques/rally car" sort of thing, there are enough uprated parts on Fake that I can have a fairly interesting display to anyone who cares, OBD and stuff coupled with things like parts refurbed to stock isn't that common I'd guess. I'm hoping to have my 1.7 clutch release bearings done by then too so might be able to add something to the remanufactured parts.
So yup, I'm in!

This is a great idea, if a tidy 360 comes up before then I'm in - I think a good one would be to demonstrate all round suspension replacement (shocks/springs maybe even bushes), most 300's are past their best now and almost anyone could takle the rears if they've got an hour to spare.
Would it be worth getting a CVT car there? I've noticed an influx in vario members with various problems that only a select few members on here know how to diagnose!

If I get some old front spring top cups (maybe work with Robbert-Jan as he's collecting strut top mounts) then I could do a stage by stage demo of how I refurbed them, I think these will be a problem for lots of people soon. I might work out a way I can do a laser propshaft demo and engine mount jig if room and considered interesting.
Steve, both ideas I think are awesome.
A demo diff casing on the remake stand to show your parts (maybe technique?) Mac?

Great ideas people!!
Looks like we'll certainly be able to put some demonstrations on - and of course we have plenty of time
to organise.
CVT car - oh yes indeed - I shall have probably perfected my CVT vac test unit by then (remember that).
If anyone fancies doing a bit of research into the motorsport side - start gathering info, pix etc that would
be appreciated. I'll look to arrange printing up on display boards later.
As it look like we'll get at least one drift car there it would be nice to see a generator, tv and a cd player
showing films of 300s in drift events and rallying ???
Chris - we'll talk at the Beaulieu do and get something down on paper. Meanwhile I have to sell the details
to the VOC board.

Can't be that hard

I'll talk to John and Nigel at the section meet this month too.

I'll try get down for this as its not all that far away, of course can't be sure till a bit closer. Hopefully by then I'll have my LH2.4 injection system out a 940 in the car so that could be of interest, a half-economic-to-drive 360

Was that the proposed clone of 5900?

Just a quick post to say, sounds good gents, some good ideas bouncing around. I have a generator if it is required as well and a CVT.
