360 rear end questions and front hubs too!!
XR3i , mk4 escort ghias and some sierras and other fords have rear callipers too ! all will have mechanical handbrake. cant forget 240's have 4 pots on the back too

240 dont have 4 pots at the back , and have seperate drums at the back (inside the disk) for handbrake - ive seen the pics of a front gearbox and rear axle , so its only a case of cut a bigger tunnel out .
ahhh , the tings i could do with a 340/360.
the de dion axle is WAY heavy so you could ditch that, go to a lighter setup or convert to wishbones , and use the 440/480 rear caliper as that has an integral handbrake and the disk will fit right on .
ive done lots of thinking/designing these cars - i had a kit car with these in mind , but difficulty with std transmission with someone who wanted to play made me go with a more conventional route , altho the setup isnt lost , im just replacing the M47 with a renault transaxle , which will cope with turbo power !!!!!
