Mouldy steering wheels is odd. Do ya'll wash your hands after you make poop?
With soap and also after pee and before doing anything with food stuff etc. I have been taught not put fingers to mouth when doing stuff outside too
I have even cleaned steering wheel before car was left to sit, but still grows, funny thing is that it starts when winter comes, ie. when temps are freezing or close to it.
Typical basic requirements for mold are damp air and limited amount of light, it can be months when I don't visit the garage, so there is quite little of light.
Now I did put cover on garage floor as it is about two inch thick concrete floor on top of soil and there is nothing at surface, so there can be some damp coming trough floor, however door is such that air is moving quite freely from all the gaps in there, which makes garage to dry up too quite well, at least in theory.
It is interesting that Chris and I have the issue, I think we both have experienced this before too? Maybe there is something in material what steering wheel is made that encourages growth of mold.
There is issue with my car clearly, petrol is disappearing from carburettor and good part of fuel lines over the night, I guess it is a fuel pump then?
Will need new choke cable and part that attach cable to carb body too, more to hunt that is
