When the cam belt went ping on PTF (Redlines xmas tree decoration 360GLE) a head was acquired from Mr Farrell which was a GLT with A cam head.
Made a very nice difference to it.

Is it an A cam in a B200E-f? If i was to put a H in mine how much more powerz? worth it?
I have read on turbobricks about a M cam which gives better low down torque

Try finding an H

Last one I knew of was imported from upside down land.
LE jet as it's open loop is horrific with any engine changes, same with renix

Ah so H might not be so easy
Im not sure why you are talking about LE jet now?

lol

I wouldn't bother swapping cams on standard management (LE-Jet)...it doesn't respond. The A is hot enough anyway. If you want more power, a B200 isn't going to do the job, cam or not

If you're going to do it, fit a V (B230E)...at least they're easy to find. Ks and Hs are like rocking horse poop. Bear in mind you'll almost certainly need to re-shim, which is a PITA, whatever you fit.
The M is a piece of junk. It was a smog-spec cam with very little lift and low duration. Avoid.
cheers

This. Ali noticed no difference when swapping in a V cam, and my heavier standard car performed exactly the same in a highly scientific drag race

At a basic level, the hotter cam provides more opening time to suck more fuel and air mix into the engine. LE jet has no idea it's doing this as it's open loop, so still puts in the same amount of fuel, so the engine just draws in more air. LE jet is awesome on a stock engine when it's setup right. On anything else it's the most useless system in the world.

I see now

it wasnt very clear, i thought you were just talking something totally different

Ill keep as it is then if its open loop. Can the feuling me changed easily or does involve modifying the "ecu"?

Well, somehow you need to close that loop. That can either be you with a wideband and using your ears for knock, then changing LE jet after working out how it works, or you can fit another fuel system that already uses sensors to "remap" itself on the fly.
That system exists, already on redblocks, as LH. It's why I get quick so excited about an LH swapped 360 and why it's been something I've wanted to do on and off each time I've owned a GLT. Stock engine on LH would return silly MPG, make some engine changes and it'll deal with it. It's a no brainer, yet no one has yet done it.

Hopefully nimmiz will get it done

I think nobody has done it yet because it's a bit of a pain. It's not just a case of some wiring as you'd either have to swap flywheels for the right pattern or somehow translate the trigger pattern of the existing flywheel to something that LH would expect.
I believe it would make a huge difference to how an injection 360 runs though. Pettaw's 360 GLEi on Megasquirt with K cam pulled like a train, as I'm sure Foggy would vouch for versus his 360 GLE on twin 40's and k cam

It's just changing a flywheel, you could have it done in an afternoon! The rest of it isn't hard, just would take some thinking and care.

Pfftt.. you done one on a 360 before?

Yup :p Well, torque tube out etc. Granted, compared to a 340 its a right pain, but a 3 year old could do the 340 one!

You could do it in a day easily enough *if everything went to plan*...!
Andy set up a challenge which he knew he'd win easily (deck the throttle from idle, where mine will bog like hell because I'm too lazy to re-jet the carbs), but I have no doubt that a re-match in the form of a roll from 30mph would end differently
cheers
