Its seems to me that 3 people had though they'd bought it. The guy on facebook said he was going to use it for drifting with a T5

no dodgey dealings going on at all. someone was ment to be coming sunday then this lad kept pestering me to take it off ebay coz he wanted to come sunday. agreed on 500 quid and he gave me 20 pound deposit to keep it so i told the other guy it had been provisionally sold which he was ok with then a 3rd person contacted me saying they would come get the car the next day and since i needed the cash asap i refunded his deposit told him headgasket had gone to try not upset him. been messed around by people buying stuff in the past and although he seemed very genuine anything could happen in 5 days to cause him to not be able to buy it in which case he would of lost 20 quid and i would of had hastle of trying to sell it again so whilst the money was their it was taken.

The way i see it, he put a deposit down that you obviously agreed on, and then sold it someone else. You agreed to hold it, and didnt, so you've broken the 'contract'. Thats all im saying, but people that mess about selling things, piss me off, extremely...

In a way I can see where he's coming from, ebay is full of people not turning up to things. But yeah, you probably should have communicated a bit better with the original buyer, asked for payment in full or something.
